About the work: Ricochet is one of a series of works on paper exploring space, momentum and volume. A sense of movement is increased by the use of thin layers of paint, or veils, which emphasis the negative and positive space seen within the works.
Bio: Sarah Kogan is an artist working in the East End of London. She is represented by Tom Rowland Gallery (formerly Karsten Schubert). Recent solo and group shows include those at Karsten Schubert London, Tom Rowland Gallery, Offer Waterman, Blyth Gallery and Imperial College. From 2016–18 Kogan's multimedia First World War art installation, Changing the Landscape was supported by public funding from The National Lottery through Arts Council of England and exhibited in four international and national venues. Kogan has been a guest lecturer at Chelsea College of Arts, The Estorick Collection and Bethlem Royal Hospital.
