Bio: Ian Ritchie leads one of the world’s most thoughtful, original, innovative and influential contemporary architectural practices. He is a Royal Academician, member of the Akademie der Künste, an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music and Royal Academy of Engineering, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Society of Façade Engineering. He has chaired many international juries including the Stirling Prize and Berlin Art Prize, while his practice has won more than 100 national and international awards. He was a founder director of Rice Francis Ritchie, a design engineering practice based in Paris. He has written several books, including poetry, and several international museums hold his art.
