Hannah Brown
Title: Sketch for Pedlarspool 9
Year: 2022
Media: Oil on paper
Size: 26 x 35.5 cm
About the work: This work is from a series of paintings depicting a site in Mid Devon which is currently being developed into a housing estate. This view no longer exists and the place name has been changed from Pedlarspool to Libbets Grange. I wanted to record the view before it was lost and so in 2022 made sketches from either side of the ancient oaks that currently line the road at the edge of the field.
