Christopher Orr MBE RA
Title: Lost in translation
Media: Watercolour and pencil on paper
Size: 32 x 40 cm
About the work: This drawing came from a fascination with odd phrase book examples like “My Postillion has been struck by lightning”. In a typical street scene of mine the characters and animals are speaking in different languages and both failing and succeeding in communicating.
