Gallaccio’s work addresses our complex relationship with the natural world. Her practice, challenges the permanency of the art object – using organic materials her works are often site-determined and transient.

Anya Gallaccio is the current holder of the Kenneth Armitage Foundation Fellowship (2023–2025.Turner Contemporary, Margate ,Preserve, the largest survey exhibition of her practice to date until 26 January 2025. Stroke, Jupiter+Paisley, a creative project by Jupiter Artland which uses art to promote agency and activism in young people, High Street, Paisley until 12 December.The AIDS Memorial in London, 2027.
