About the work: Hound reimagines the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice in a landscape transposed from the 1970 Mayles Brothers film Gimme Shelter.  

 Bio: Alexis Pearse Flynn is an Irish artist whose work explores the transitional structure between memory and history and the tension between narrative and image. His paintings have been exhibited at the Royal Academy, the National Gallery of Ireland, the Southwark Park Gallery and Beaconsfield Gallery. He studied at the Royal College of Art and is based in London.
